Sushi is the name of the traditional Japanese course that consists of boiled marinated rice which is served with different accompaniments which are roasted, boiled, marinated or even raw. Fish or shellfish are often used but vegetables, mushrooms, eggs or meet can also be used. The most common forms for sushi are Nigiri, where accompaniments is placed on the top of a hand formed rice ball and Maki, where rice and accompaniments are rolled into seaweed. A good sushi is both healthy and beautiful. It is an enjoyment for the whole family.
